One of the topics I raised Tuesday - and have often in this blog - is the yet-to-be-fully-understood connections between our physiology, biology, hormonology (new word I just made up), anthropology (all of those sciences and more) and our relationships. So, the equation of Science + Love = ?? I want to know the answer ... I mean answers (plural, surely). It's a fascinating set of interdisciplinary questions that are quite intriguing, no, if we're considering ALL of the variables for creating/sustaining happy couples?
Today one of my favorite neuropsychologist colleagues - Roxanne - sent me a live chat link hosted on Science Magazine's webpage called "The Science of Love." Okay, fascinating stuff here. Science + Love = Passion
I just made that up. I could never think of anything as a result of love and science. But what I do know is that if you love something or whatever you are doing(like a job or hobby) and could not take it away from you, that is passion. You are simply just not getting tired, you want perfection and you wanted to be satisfied.
There are different kinds of love. There is love at first sight, there is love that has been or being developed, there is love from the parents and love from the child, etc. Now if we have to add it to science, I am not sure... Should it be CHEMISTRY?! LOL since all the branches of science has been mentioned.
